Green Wedding Inspiration

Green ... a fresh and very popular colour for summer.

Below clockwise: (1) There are no rules when it comes to the colour of the bridesmaids bouquets, even if their dresses are green (2) Some green shoes ... great prop for some funky photos (3) Who said you don't get flowers for that green bouquet?! (4) The same apply for this handbag as for the shoes ... just gorgeous!

Below clockwise: (1) Something different for the groom than that same old rose idea (2) Some decoration for the ceremony chairs (3) For those brides who wants to go big on their flowers (4) An almost non-floral centrepiece if you are not to keen on to many flowers for you wedding.

Below left: That green cocktail for the thirsty guests after the ceremony. Below right: A great idea doing the rounds when the reception is held on a not-so-smooth-surface ie. grass. It also serves as gifts for your guests.

Below left: The more modern turn on a wedding cake. Below right: Also a great trend if you have some money extra in your budget to spend ... create a lounge at the bar area where your guests can have a chat and relax.

Below left: Gift idea for your guests ... A fan for those hot South African summers, also serving as the order of service, boxed and ribboned. Below right: Another great gift idea is a goodie box ... you can stock it with whatever you have in mind to treat your guests with. Think out of the box! 8)

Real Wedding: French Countryside Wedding

One of the most romantic type of weddings is probably the wedding in French Country Style. We're bringing you the wedding of Jeri and Christopher all the way from Loire Valley, France. The love for food bonded Jeri, an actress, and Christopher, a French chef, who first met at a food-related charity event.

Left: A glimpse of the setting for the garden ceremony, with lavender pots decorating the isle. Right: And how handsome is this ... Christopher with Jeri's bouquet.

Top left: Guests booked themselves into a 16th century manor for the weekend and mini chalkboards assigned guests their room numbers. Top right: The charming historical chapel at Chateau de Noirieux in Broillay. Bottom left: To add to the rustic charm, hand-painted signs gave some direction to guests. Bottom right: Jeri's dress was a silk Vera Wang with a silver sash.
